Library users will more easily access ebooks across multiple systems thanks to SimplyE, a free app for phones and tablets that is being further developed at Minitex, a joint program of the University of Minnesota Libraries and the Minnesota Office of Higher Education.

The Minitex staff would like to congratulate Bobby Bothmann, Metadata & Emerging Technologies Librarian at Minnesota State University Mankato, for his election to the OCLC Americas Regional Council (ARC) as a delegate to Global Council. Bothmann's 3 year term as a delegate will begin July 1, 2016.
In the coming weeks the Minnesota Digital Library will be launching a new resource for Minnesota Reflections users. The Minnesota Digital Library's Primary Source Sets will serve as an online resource for teachers and students. Each Primary Source Set will focus on a historic topic and will showcase resources found in Minnesota Reflections that relate to that subject.
The newly digitized oral history collection from Saint Cloud State University documents the experiences of World War II veterans from St. Cloud, Stearns County, and central Minnesota.
